Overview
Torean trekking program design to explore all side of mount Rinjani from SEMBALUN trekking trail and return to torean route.The Summit Rinjani program 3 days will give you best trekking experience and adventure trek.
Itinerary
After breakfast at 06:30-07 am.We will pick you up and drive you to Sembalun Village for about an hour with estimated arrival on 08:00am.
Register at Rinjani Information Center (RIC) and start trekking to POS-1 (1,300 m) in about 2 hours.
Take a rest for 5-10 minutes then continue walking to POS-2 (1,500 m) in about an hour.
Take another 5-10 minutes short break then continue trekking to POS-3(1,800 m) in about an hour.
We rest for 2 hours at POS-3,then you will have lunch with a hot drink such as tea,coffee,hot chocolate,or lemon tea.
After lunch and take a rest, we shall continue trekking to Sembalun Crater Rim (2,639 m) which can be reach in about 3 hours.
We will spend a night on the Sembalun Crater Rim.
Here you will enjoy the owesome views such as sunrise and sunset, Segara Anak lake,and even you can see most of north Lombok island
We wake at 2am for a light breakfast before commencing the challenging three hour trek to the summit (3,726 m).We arrive in time for sunrise,the best time to enjoy the spectacular views. Returning to our campsite on the crater rim we pause for a hot breakfast and a rest before continuing our descent into the crater.We stop for lunch on the shore of Lake Segara Anak (2,000 m) where we can swim in the hot springs.After lunch we continue our trek around 2-3 hours to the camp site.
After breakfast we continue our descent of the mountain utilizing the rest spots of Jaran Kurus,Birisan Nangka,and waterfall Penimbungan and stopping for a longer break for lunch along the way.As we descend the mountain the forest becomes thicker and increasingly lush.We arrive in Torean (601 m) at approximately 1 pm.

This is counting only your hiking days & nights.
If you are doing the 3D/2N summit,lake and hot spring trek,you have to spend 1 night in senaru or sembalun befor the trek, trek all day,spend the night at the rim.

Most hikers leave their bags at our office.There is no reason to carry everything you have with you to the top of Mt. Rinjani. We have safe places to keep bags. We always stop back at the office to change drivers, so you can pick up your bags then.
You must arrive 1 day before.When you arrive by boat or airline, you must then get to Senaru.This takes too much time.The treks all leave early in the morning directly from Senaru.
The temperature in the day is around 15 – 25 degree Celsius at and below the rims. At night, the temperature at the Rim is usually below 10 degree Celsius. At times, it can be near freezing especially towards the summit.
There are designated spots along the trail.On the rim, your porters will set up a “toilet tent”.
Your porter and guide will be carrying first aid kits. If you have anything personal that you need such as medication,it’s important that you bring that yourself.Our porters carry radio transmitters to communicate with local safety officials.Our guides are trained in CPR and life saving techniques.You national parks fee includes basic insurance.
We hike everyday. Weather on Mt. Rinjani is unpredictable and changes often. We do not make predictions on upcoming weather until the same day. We have our own network of information coming directly from the Gunung Rinjani National Park in regards to the weather.
In general, if you are booking 2 weeks in advance, you shouldn’t have much trouble. If you are booking for the upcoming week, dates are sold out sometimes, and we must check the database. During busy seasons, like Indonesian holidays and weekend, dates sell out quickly.
